I am totally appalled by this cruelty and have had my head stuck in the mud on this subject. I am ashamed of myself.
Don’t feel that way. I had no idea either! That’s why I share this information so we can all learn and be aware. I don’t own any down, but I see down coats a plenty every day on the train. I would bet, those folks have no idea either. It’s an ugly trade which is probably why most don’t know about it.
