In January of 2012 the United States Fish and Wildlife Services, bowing to pressure from national killing cartels, removed the gray wolf from the Endangered Species List in the Western Great Lakes Region. The very day that wolves were officially delisted Rep. Scott Suder (R-ALEC) introduced a very onerous bill in the Wisconsin Legislature that basically declared war on the gray wolf in Wisconsin. The bill allowed wolves to be killed by everything short of artillery, and made Wisconsin the only state in a country full of wolf haters to allow dogs to be pitted against wolves. Following the introduction of this disgusting bill several wildlife advocates, along with myself, attempted contact with representatives of the Humane Society of the United States and Defenders of Wildlife to make them aware of what Wisconsin was attempting to do.
